I like how the subject fills as much of the drawing as possible and the viewers attention is drawn to the eye. The shadows and higlights look very well executed and give the picture depth. The picture also has a nice sense of structure to the animals coat.
The feathers are also very well drawn and anatomically correct. I like how they are not perfect. The knicked feathers give the picture a sense of reality.

The only points of critique I could find is that the mouth could have used some more detailing and I would have liked to see the horn blended into the forehead a little more.

Overall, an excellent picture that went straight into my favorites!

wow. to think you are still using my pathetic excuse for an avatar when you could do soemthing as amazing as this! i think you chose the colours nicely, te mane goes well with the coat colour and feathers. i like the choice of the feather patterns too,.. if i said you had to mabey make this a bit better (wich i dont think is possible) i would say to move the horn a bid more into the scenter of the forhead, as it is closer to us then in the center. all together i think that this is a wonderful peice of art!
