The colour chosen for the eyes were also very compatible with the rest of the colours chosen for the picture. The blue colour draws my attention straight to the eyes and giving me the impression of bright eyes, filled with intelligence.
I also like the way the artust chose to draw the mouth area. The curvng of the lip line gives it a smirking look and further adds to intelligence of the creature.
Overall I don't think I have anything negative to say about this picture. The lineart is very good and the colouring is just professional. There's slight smudges around the thick black lineart but I guess that can't be helped since this is a traditional piece of artwork. So, well done!
